The Character of Christ

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

In order to be effective we must show character, The character of Christ. The way He spoke , the way He treated people, and the way He responded to situations around Him.

Qualities that show character include: Speaking the truth, But always with love. Not speaking ill or slandering others. Doing what is right even when it's hard. Do not be jealous of others but content. Show honor and respect to others. Show sincerity and empathy for others.

The phrase "what would Jesus do" is still applicable and always will be.

In this world having character makes you stand out in a crowd. It gives you the opportunity to share Jesus in a way that touches others because of your kindness and your ability to respond to situations in a loving and fair way. Don't fall into the enemy's trap of being angry and dissatisfied and judgmental. The world does not need more of those qualities - The world needs Jesus!..... Not a church ,not a religion , but the power of Jesus himself working through His Believers.

I challenge you today when you have a difficult situation to ask yourself what would Jesus do? Then do it, and be a light in the darkness.
